JVC Everio GZ-HM200 Dual SD High-Def 1080p Camcorder (Black)

Every Everio can conveniently record digital still images. Just switch to the image mode and then press the snapshot button. Record your snapshot to either the HDD or a micro SD card. It's your choice. The snapshot will record up to 1920 x 1080.

The new HD Everio Cameras are available in three colors: Choose the one that best matches to your style or preference. (Available body colors differ by model)
GZ-HM200 is available in Garnet Red, Sapphire Blue and Onyx Black.

With Everio, you don't have to use the power switch each time you operate because the power is linked to the LCD's opening and closing. Just open the LCD; the power turns on and the lens cover automatically opens. Just close the LCD to power off and close the lens cover too.

For all models, SD/microSD card is not supplied.
To record video, SDHC/microSDHC card with Class 4 or higher performance is required. For UXP mode, please use class 6 or higher. SD/microSD memory cards (256MB to 2GB) and SDHC memory cards (4GB to 32GB)/microSDHC memory cards (4GB and 8GB) have been tested for the following brands: Panasonic, Toshiba, SanDisk, ATP. Note that using other media may result in recording failure or data loss.
Recording time figures are estimations. There may be cases where actual recording time becomes shorter depending on the type of content being recorded.

Allows you to check the remaining battery power by % and remaining recording time in minutes. Optional larger capacity batteries are available for purchase.

An evolved version of our previous Laser Touch Operation, this system now allows Zooming and Recording using either the Laser Touch or standard zoom lever and REC button. Of course, browsing through indexes and menu selections is easy as ever.

This function automatically selects highlight scenes from among the recorded content using our proprietary algorithm and plays back what looks like a "coming attractions" trailer for a movie. 60 minutes of footage is condensed into 5 minutes of highlight scene.

With Everio, archiving your videos onto disc is also a one-touch operation. Use the PC or optional SHARE STATION DVD Burner, and you can burn DVDs from Everio's recordings. With an HD Everio model, you can even archive your Full HD video files on DVD discs (AVCHD DVD) and Blu-ray discs.

With the CU-VD50 SHARE STATION, playback of created AVCHD DVDs is also possible. You can enjoy powerful Full HD video on HDTV. No PC required.

Memory-type Everio features dual slots for SD/SDHC Card. Readily available and cost-efficient, you can insert two 32GB for up to 80 hours of recording with a minimal investment.

Everio MediaBrowser has a calendar type graphical interface that displays thumbnail images of your recorded videos and stills, superimposed on the date they were taken. So it's clear to see exactly when you took what scene. You can easily switch between "Daily" and "Show all" displays. And with built-in filter functions, you can instantly narrow down your selection to just videos, just stills, and so on.

Exporing to iTunes, uploading to YouTube™, and burning to DVD disc... all of these "Share and carry" operations are simplified to the extreme. Just press the exclusive function button, select the file you want to use, and follow a few simple steps shown on the computer screen. You're done before you know it.
